Art from Tape

I came across this artist that creates masterpieces from tape, yes just regular old packaging tape.

This particular piece was my favorite because it looks like the chair is tapped to the wall, I am amazed at how three dimensional the work is.

A Dress I Need To Have

This is torture. I came across this to die for dress when shamelessly stalking wedding blogs. ( I am not close to being engaged, but it's fun to look)

I love everything about it! ... Except the price.

Luckily, my friend Diana, who is just as big a sale shopper as me informed me that there is an identical dress in the Jimmy Choo for H&M line coming out in weeks.

Moral of the story, I will be on line early November 14th to snatch up the look alike.

Inspiration From My Mom

I was having a hard time deciding how to start this blogging thing. I have been wanting to start blogging for awhile now but I felt like I couldn't just jump right in, every story needs a beginning, right?

Well, then it hit me. What better way to start a blog about all things I love than with a shout out to my mom and her beautiful work.

My mother is a super talented quilter and makes beautiful renditions of the beach and our family time on Martha's Vineyard. I am always amazed by her attention to detail (it must have skipped a generation).
